September and October where very busy for us here at Hotel Elephant -
We where proud to exhibit our first commissioned artwork -
'Logical Design - Heygate Installation' 2013 by Nathan Murphy - A site specific piece created for our terrace space on the Heygate Estate.
Nathan's work was join for Elefest and the Artlicks weekend (3rd - 6th Oct) with a work by Cheryl Field - 'Untitled Inflatable' 2013 - which was commissioned for our front gallery space.
We got a great response from the 400+ people that visited us over the weekend!
We where very luck to get spotlighted for both the REcreative website - in a video interview with gallery director Emily Woodhouse and the SLAM online magazine - also interviewing Emily!

We also opened our new building on Newington Causeway (opposite our old space!) hosting a huge chunk of the Elefest events - Including a street food market, pop up cinema, Don Letts DJ set, Johnny Harris (London to Brighton) Q+A and UK Skateboarding film festival & Reeps One concert.
There was a great turn out with hundred's of people enjoying the festival this year and Hotel Elephant's new venue got a great response!
