Hotel Elephant
Units A&B behind 40-42 Newington Causeway, SE1 6DR, London, United Kingdom
Hotel Elephant is a not for profit company set up to provide space for arts and culture in Southwark. Due to the kind support of The Peabody Trust and Southwark Council, Hotel Elephant has the use of an amazing 15,000sqft warehouse space and shop front in SE1. In this new space Hotel Elephant Gallery provides platform and shop window for Southwark artists and designer-makers, giving them the opportunity to sell their work in their neighbourhood. The warehouse space will house a programme of larger exhibitions, educational workshops and cultural events, along with providing affordable studio space. Hotel Elephant is dedicated to enriching the cultural life of Southwark, as well as developing self-sustaining and accessible cultural activities in their neighbourhood.
